Exhibitor Terms and Prices

   

Eligibility

Any company or organization with an interest in exposing its products or services to a wide audience of library professionals and allies is encouraged to purchase a virtual exhibit space.

Terms

All exhibitors must conform to the published Exhibitor Rules and Regulations. Acceptance of an exhibitor application by MLA constitutes a contract. A contract will be considered null and void if payment in full is not received by the published deadline. Exhibitor benefits begin upon receipt of payment.

Deadlines

Exhibitor applications and payments are due on September 1, 2020 to take full advantage of all available benefits. 

Fees

Virtual exhibit rental charge is $300.

Benefits

--Exposure to conference attendees through breakout sessions and in the Sched app
--Links directly to your website which attendees can follow for in-depth information about your products and sevices
--Opportunity to attend breakout sessions

Exhibit Hours

There will be three 1.5 hour blocks of time before the Wednesday conference sessions and after the Thursday & Friday conference sessions. This ensures that exhibitors will not be competing with conference sessions for attendees’ attention. Exhibitors may schedule one half-hour session on each of the conference days, Wednesday through Friday. These will take place on an exhibitor’s Zoom or Webex platform.

MLA does not have capacity to provide text-only chat rooms, but if exhibitors have capacity to run one, those can be made available to attendees. All the links to these meetings will be included in the conference schedule in Sched, as well as in the virtual booths.

MLA will also be organizing a version of the Exhibitor Bingo program, which will encourage attendees to seek out all that the exhibitors are bringing to the conference.  

Logo visibility

If you would like your organization's logo to be published in conference attendee materials, you must email your organization's logo to the MLA office by September 1, 2020 as a png or jpg file.

Professional Tables

Unfortunately, due to the challenges of the virtual vs. in-person conference, we are unable to offer professional tables this year. Non-profits wishing to engage with attendees at the virtual conference will need to register as exhibitors.

Silent Auction

Similar to the challenges mentioned above with the Professional Tables, we are unable to offer a silent auction this year. We hope that you will save, and add to, the contributions you have set aside this year, for a memorable silent auction to be held next year. Financial contributions to the Minnesota Library Federation, which supports grants to libraries around the state and MILE, the Minnesota Institute for Leadership Excellence, are welcomed. The silent auction serves as the only fundraiser, and future MILE cohorts depend on this funding.
