Exhibitor terms and prices

 

Eligibility

Any company or organization with an interest in exposing its products or services to a wide audience of library professionals and allies is encouraged to purchase a booth.

Terms

All exhibitors must conform to the published Exhibitor Rules and Regulations. Acceptance of an exhibitor application by MLA constitutes a contract. A contract will be considered null and void if payment in full is not received by the published deadline. Exhibitor benefits begin upon receipt of payment.

Deadlines

Exhibitor applications and payments were due on July 25, 2019 to take full advantage of all available benefits.

 

Space rental charge is $700 for one 8' x 10' booth. A second booth may be selected for an additional $400. 

Benefits

--One 8' x 10' booth with two chairs and one wastebasket
--Two complimentary exhibitor registrations with each paid booth
--Organization description published in conference materials
--Opportunity to attend breakout sessions

For a small additional fee join the attendees for lunch. We hope you will take advantage of this additional networking opportunity.

A service kit will be available closer to the event date posted below. The service kit will also be e-mailed to you prior to the conference. Electrical service and/or telephone/Internet installation will also be available for additional charges.

An exhibit hall floor plan with your booth location will be sent prior to the conference.


Exhibit Hours

The conference schedule is in the process of being finalized. Once confirmed, the schedule will be posted online.

 


 

Setup and Teardown Times

Setup time will be 7:00am - 10:00am on Thursday, September 19, 2019. Setup must be completed by Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 10:00am.

Exhibit teardown must be completed by 4:30pm on Friday, September 20, 2019.

Logo visibility

If you would like your organization's logo to be published in conference attendee materials, you must email your organization's logo to the MLA office by July 25, 2019 as a vector-based Al or EPS file or high-resolution PDF. 

Lodging

A block of rooms has been reserved in at the following hotel:

The MLA discounted room rates are $149/night exclusive of applicable state and local taxes (7.375%) applicable service fees.

Reservations

To make a reservation please call the hotel directly at 952-445-9000 or toll free at 800-262-7799 and identify yourself as participating in the Minnesota Library Association event.
 
Reservation Deadline: August 28, 2019

A limited number of rooms are blocked at this hotel for MLA attendees; therefore, we cannot guarantee rooms will be available through the reservation deadline. 

 

Electricity, Phone Hookup and Internet Access

Electric, phone hook up and internet access order forms will be available closer to the conference date.

Exhibitor Service Kit

The exhibit service kit will be available closer to the conference date.

Exhibitor Hall Map and Booth Assignments

Initial space assignments will be made on a first come, first served basis at the discretion of MLA. MLA reserves the right to make appropriate changes in exhibitor locations as it deems necessary for the overall success of the Exhibit.

Professional Table Terms and Prices

Eligibility

Professional tables are reserved for subunits of MLA, library professional membership organizations or nonprofit organizations supporting libraries.

Terms

All professional tables must conform to the published Exhibitor Rules and Regulations. Acceptance of a professional table application by MLA constitutes a contract. Contract will be considered null and void if payment is not received by the published deadline. Professional table benefits begin upon receipt of payment

Deadlines

Professional Table applications and payments are due by July 25, 2019 to take full advantage of all available benefits.

Fees

$40 per table

Benefits

One 6' table, tablecloth and two chairs 

Table Hours

Setup and Teardown Times

Setup time will be 7:00am - 10:00am on Thursday, September 19, 2019. Setup must be completed by Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 10:00am.

Exhibit teardown must be completed by 5:00pm on Friday, September 20, 2019.
