Register today for the 2010 Annual Conference!
Early-bird discounted rates end September 17, and pre-registration closes September 24. This three-day conference features an exceptional lineup of presentations and professional development opportunities, such as this year’s four keynote presentations:
- Seven Practices of the Inventive Creative with Ed Holahan from Creativity Central
- Treasure Hunting for a Different Gold – Sharon Lerner Lecture Fund Breakfast with author Sally Walker
- Delving Into the Otherworld: Murder, Myth, and Music in False Mermaid with mystery writer Erin Hart
- Security, Privacy, and the Generation Gap with security expert and author Bruce Schneier
With more than 60 presentations across 8 sessions and 11 tracks (public libraries, academic libraries, rural libraries, paraprofessionals, trustees/advocates/friends, leadership excellence, children and young people, reader advisory, references services, technical services, and government information) and an exhibit hall with more than 50 vendors showcasing library products and services, there’s something for everyone.
New features this year include Legacy Program Showcase, Wellness Fair, and award presentations at luncheon keynotes. Back for a second year are our “greener” conference materials (including a CD of session handouts) and conference t-shirts.
The conference also features great social and networking opportunities.
