An e-mail with a link to a brief survey was sent to all MLA Public Library Division members on the morning of February 9th. The survey will take about five to ten minutes to complete and will close on Friday, February 24, 2012. Please take a moment to give us your input.

The 2012 MLA/MEMO Library Legislative Day is an opportunity for library advocates (you, your staff and board, your patrons, other library lovers) to gather at the Minnesota State Capitol to show support and raise awareness of issues for libraries.

The Academic & Research Libraries Division (ARLD), with support from the Public Libraries Division (PLD) of the Minnesota Library Association (MLA) and Minnesota Educational Media Organization (MEMO), is seeking session proposals for 2012 ARLD Day, April 27, 2012, at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.

Please nominate yourself or colleagues for the 2012 Minnesota Academic Innovators Award. This award recognizes academic librarians or academic project teams who have made an outstanding recent contribution to advance the mission of an academic library in Minnesota through an innovative project, program or service. (Innovation will be considered very broadly.) The award is sponsored by the MLA Academic & Research Libraries Division (ARLD).

The Minnesota Library Association 2012 Annual Conference will be held on October 3-5, 2012 at the St. Paul RiverCentre in St. Paul, Minnesota.
