Creating Awesome Supervisor Training: Best Practices & Techniques from the Library Field

Speaker: Jerilyn Veldhof

As our profession transforms and our work changes, nurturing skillful and competent supervisors has become a priority for all types of libraries. Rising to the challenge, many libraries are creating and offering learning and development programs to help their supervisors succeed. But with limited time and funds it’s important we use the most effective and low-cost techniques and strategies for developing supervisors. In this webinar you will learn effective, road-tested best practices and discover those that will best fit your library - and your budget.

Jerilyn Veldof is the organization development consultant for the University of Minnesota Libraries. In this role, she has implemented various types of leadership and supervisor development programs at the University. During this webinar, she’ll share some of these programs as well as best practices from consultants and library staff from all library types.
