2012 RART Steering Committee Candidates

Carol Jackson
Branch Manager, North St. Paul Branch, Ramsey County Library

I love reaching outside of my library system and making connections—I think we have so much to learn from each other—and I’ve really enjoyed the time I’ve spent with the members of RART. I consider readers advisory a service that is unique to the library, and one that is worth promoting and expanding.

Kristin Jones
Collection Development Librarian, Mackin Educational Resources
Reference Librarian Sub, Carver County Library

I feel that I am a well-rounded librarian and I would bring a lot of my expertise to the RART committee. I am also a very dedicated individual and I am willing to devote a great deal of my time to the committee. Reader’s Advisory has always been one of my specialties, and I look forward to learning even more about it from the RART Steering committee.

Rachel Gray
Information Services Librarian, SELCO

Reader’s Advisory is an important service libraries provide to their patrons. I have been very impressed with the MLA conference offerings by RART—from sessions on a given genre to book blasts to the RART Happy Hour. I would love to be on the steering committee to actively help plan these events and sessions for members.
